Dr. Abhishek Gehlot is an accomplished academician, researcher, and institutional quality expert with more than 17 years of experience in teaching, research, accreditation, and academic governance. He currently serves as Professor of Chemistry at Jaipur Engineering College and Research Centre (JECRC), Jaipur.

He earned his PhD in Chemistry with research focused on the synthesis of modified steroids, nanoparticles, and their biological applications. In addition, he holds an MBA, an MA in Psychology, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Guidance and Counselling, enabling him to work effectively at the intersection of science, management, and human development.

Dr. Gehlot has played a key role in NAAC and UGC accreditation processes, serving as a Core IQAC Member and University Coordinator for NAAC Criterion–3 (Research, Innovation & Extension). His contributions include preparation of Self-Study Reports (SSR), AQARs, SOP development, data analysis, and internal academic audits, supporting institutional excellence and compliance.

His professional experience extends beyond academia, including R&D work with Birla White Cement (Aditya Birla Group) and research engagement at the National Dope Testing Laboratory during India’s WADA accreditation phase. These roles provided him with strong exposure to international compliance standards, analytical instrumentation, and quality-driven research environments.

Dr. Gehlot has published research articles in reputed international journals indexed in SCI and Scopus and has authored a textbook in Engineering Chemistry. As an editor, he actively promotes rigorous peer review, research ethics, interdisciplinary scholarship, and academic transparency.
