biography
Dr. Emelda Chukwu is Head of the Center for Infectious Disease Research and Senior Research Fellow at the Nigerian Institute of Medical Research (NIMR), Lagos. She holds a PhD in Medical Microbiology from the University of Lagos and completed a postdoctoral fellowship at Emory University School of Medicine (2019-2022). She is principal investigator of the AMR research group at NIMR.
