Dr. Neeta Bachheti Thapliyal
Dr. Neeta Bachheti Thapliyal is an accomplished scientist and academic, currently serving as a Patent Consultant at Intelacia Consulting Pvt. Ltd., Gurgaon. She holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry from the Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee, where her research focused on the electrochemical determination of biologically important compounds, drugs, and metal ions. She further enhanced her expertise through post-doctoral research at the University of KwaZulu-Natal, Durban, South Africa, working on projects involving the voltammetric determination of anti-HIV and antimalarial drugs using nanoparticles modified electrodes, among others.
Dr. Thapliyal's academic journey began with a B.Sc. from H.N.B. Garhwal University, followed by an M.Sc. in Organic Chemistry from IIT Roorkee. Her dedication to continuous learning is evident from her additional qualifications, including a PG Diploma in Patents Law from NALSAR University of Law, Hyderabad, and multiple certificate courses in Intellectual Property Rights and Patent Drafting from prestigious institutions such as IIT Delhi and WIPO Worldwide Academy.
Throughout her career, Dr. Thapliyal has held various academic and professional positions. She served as an Assistant Professor of Chemistry at the World College of Technology & Management, Gurgaon, and the Women Institute of Technology, Dehradun. Her professional experience also includes a role as a Patent Scientist at Clairvolex Knowledge Processes Pvt. Ltd., New Delhi.
