Dr. Rajesh Kumar Singh is an Associate Professor in the Department of Chemistry at Jagdam College, J P University, Chapra, India. He has over 20 years of experience in teaching and research, with expertise in corrosion science, materials protection, and organic synthesis.
Dr. Singh holds a Ph.D. from Patna University and completed his post-doctoral research at the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay. He has published over 70 research papers in peer-reviewed journals and authored 12 books on topics related to corrosion protection and materials science. Dr. Singh has successfully guided 10 Ph.D. students and is currently supervising several ongoing doctoral research projects.
His research interests include corrosion mitigation through nanocoatings, protection of building materials and cultural heritage objects, and the effects of environmental pollutants on materials degradation. Dr. Singh has been awarded multiple research grants, including a major project from the University Grants Commission of India.
Dr. Singh is a life member of several professional societies, including the Indian Science Congress and the Indian Chemical Society. He serves on the editorial boards of the Journal of Corrosion Science and Environment and the Journal of Chemical and Biological Sciences.
