Name, photograph, designation, department, institution, city, country, qualifications, research areas, keywords, short biography, academic profile links (ORCID, Google Scholar, LinkedIn, Vidwan, ResearchGate) and board roles. Profile pages are public and may be indexed by search engines.
Kept private
Email addresses, phone and WhatsApp numbers, gender, identity documents, proof of degrees, the application form answers and your signature. These are used only by the RSYN secretariat for board administration. They are stored outside the public wiki and are not published.
Why we collect it
To verify eligibility, to contact you about board work, to match reviewers to manuscripts, to list the boards correctly, and to issue certificates.
Your choices
- Correct or update your details: profile update form.
- Change boards or leave: same form.
- Ask for your profile and data to be removed: same form. We remove the public page and delete your private records, except what we must keep for the audit of past editorial decisions.
- Questions: contact the secretariat.
Automated scraping
RSYN limits automated collection of member data. If you find your details copied elsewhere, tell us and we will help to have them removed.
