Who can join?
Researchers with a PhD (or equivalent). Industry experts with a PhD on or before 2010 and about ten years of experience can join the Advisory Board.
Can I join more than one board?
Yes. Tick every board that fits on the application form: Domain, Women, Keyword, any of our six journals, and Books & Monograph.
My field has no board.
Choose “Start a New Board” and tell us the subject. With a few experts we can constitute a board.
What will I be asked to do?
Review or handle manuscripts in your area, usually a few per year, and advise on standards. See the agreement in brief.
Is it paid?
Board service is honorary.
What is public and what is private?
Your profile is public. Contact details are private. See Member data and privacy.
How do I change or remove my profile?
Use the profile update form.
Do I get a certificate?
Active members can request an electronic certificate of recognition.
How are applications decided?
The secretariat checks eligibility and fit, then writes to you by email. This takes some days. If you do not hear from us, write through contact.
