Generative AI tools are not considered authors and should only be used to enhance language and improve readability. Authors must exercise caution when utilizing these technologies in their manuscript preparation process.
Please note: If you have used any form of generative AI or AI-assisted technology in your manuscript preparation, you must include a disclosure statement.
Required Disclosure Statement
Authors must include the following statement directly before the references section at the end of their manuscript:
Declaration of generative AI and AI-assisted technologies in the writing process
“During the preparation of this work the author(s) used [NAME TOOL / SERVICE] in order to [REASON]. After using this tool/service, the author(s) reviewed and edited the content as needed and take(s) full responsibility for the content of the publication.”
Author Responsibility
Authors must review and edit any AI-generated content thoroughly and take full responsibility for all content in their publication. The use of AI tools does not diminish the authors' accountability for the accuracy, integrity, and originality of their work.
Failure to disclose the use of AI tools may be considered a breach of publication ethics and could result in manuscript rejection or post-publication correction.
