Dr. Bhawna Pareek is a distinguished academic leader and researcher with over 21 years of experience in teaching, research, and academic administration. She holds an MSc and PhD in Organic Chemistry from Maharishi Dayanand Saraswati University, Ajmer, and currently serves as Professor and Head of the Department of Chemistry at MMDU, Mullana.
Her research spans a wide spectrum of modern chemical sciences, including nanotechnology, coordination chemistry, carbohydrate chemistry, metal–organic frameworks (MOFs), covalent organic frameworks (COFs), transition metal complexes, and green chemistry. She has authored over 50 research papers in high-impact journals, written 7 books on contemporary advances in science and technology, and holds multiple patents — notably in the green synthesis of metal oxide nanoparticles.
A dedicated mentor, Dr. Pareek has supervised numerous Ph.D. candidates and more than 150 master’s projects. She is an active member of several national and international scientific societies, including the Indian Science Congress Association. Her contributions extend beyond research through editorial work, organizing faculty development programs, and coordinating international conferences.
